Update of the privacy notice
The merger of the unemployment funds does not affect your membership, and the processing of personal data will continue in accordance with the updated privacy notice and statutory requirements.
We have updated the privacy notice describing the processing of our members’ personal data. The updated notice is available on our website.
It is important for you to know that as the Unemployment Fund for Higher Educated Employees (Erko) and the Unemployment Fund for Education and Science merge to form the new Unemployment Fund Ote, there will be no significant changes, and your membership will continue automatically in the new Unemployment Fund Ote.
After the merger, the primary legal basis for processing your personal data will remain our statutory duty to provide you with earnings‑related unemployment allowance in accordance with the Unemployment Security Act. We process your personal data only to the extent necessary for the performance of this duty. However, the merger will allow us to better serve our members, and we intend to involve our members more actively in the development of our services.
