You’ll receive important information faster – and we do it responsibly.
We have updated how we deliver decisions and messages to our members. From now on, we will primarily send messages electronically via Otenetti. The change is based on a legislative reform that came into effect in spring 2026, guiding official communications towards digital channels.
Get reminders by text message
You will receive a text message whenever there is a new message, decision or payment information for you in Otenetti. This ensures that important information does not go unnoticed.
You can enable text message notifications in your communication settings by selecting text message alerts and saving your changes. We recommend selecting all three options to receive information as quickly as possible.
What does this mean for you?
When your application is processed, you will be notified directly by email or text message as soon as a decision is ready or if we need additional information from you. There’s no need to wait for postal delivery.
We can send you information electronically, such as requests for additional details, notifications about earnings-related allowance payments, as well as decisions or other messages as e-letters.
What if I don’t read the message?
No worries. If you don’t open the decision electronically within seven days of the notification, we will still send it to you by post.
Paper mail will remain an option for those who do not use digital services or who prefer not to receive messages electronically. If you would like to continue receiving paper mail, please let us know by sending a message in Otenetti or by contacting our customer service.

To make sure you receive messages in the right way, we recommend that you check your communication settings:
- Log in to Otenetti
- A notification “Check your communication settings” will appear on the home page
- Click “Open communication settings”
- Choose your preferred communication methods – select all three options to receive notifications by email and text message, as well as information about payment dates
- Save your changes
