Month-end application peak soon in process
More applications than usual were received at the turn of June and July, but processing is progressing at a good pace. Adjusted follow-up applications received at the beginning of July are currently being processed, and the high volume of first-time applications received at the turn of the month will soon enter processing as well.
In week 28, the unemployment fund received significantly fewer applications than in the previous week. A total of 254 first applications and 319 adjusted follow-up applications were received. The decrease in application volumes was expected, as the turn of June and July typically brought a higher-than-usual number of applications.
The table below shows the number of applications received, processed and awaiting additional information during week 28, as well as the processing status on 13 July 2026.

For adjusted follow-up applications, the busiest application days at the turn of the month have already been processed. Applications received on 5 July 2026 are currently being processed, which means the intake-to-processing time is slightly over one week.
For first-time applications, applications received on 29 June 2026 are currently under review. Next in line are the higher-than-usual application volumes received at the turn of the month. Please note that, as a result, the dates shown in the processing tracker may progress more slowly than usual in the coming days.
A large number of applications were also processed during the past week – nearly 1,050 applications in total.

If you have business activities, we need your most recent confirmed personal tax decision as an attachment to your application.
If your 2025 taxation has not yet been completed, please attach your 2024 tax decision to your application. At the same time, let us know—for example in the additional information section of your application or via a message in Otenet—that your 2025 taxation is still pending.
Once your 2025 taxation has been completed, please submit your tax decision to us without delay.
Please remember to submit your 2025 tax decision even if you have already been receiving adjusted earnings-related allowance for a longer period of time.
