The month-end application surge is over – processing continues smoothly
At the turn of June and July, the unemployment fund received more applications than usual, as expected, but the largest application surge at the turn of the month has now passed.
In week 29, the unemployment fund once again received slightly fewer applications than in the previous week. A total of 292 first applications and 268 adjusted follow-up applications were received.
As shown in the chart below, a total of 560 applications were received and 864 applications were processed. Please note that the number of processed applications includes only those processed manually. In addition to these, a large number of applications were processed automatically with the help of a robotic system.
There are currently 329 applications awaiting additional information. Please remember to check the status of your application if it should already have reached the processing stage.
Processing currently begins in just over two weeks for first applications and in 1–2 weeks for adjusted follow-up applications.
