Fewer applications received – a new application peak expected at the turn of the month
During week 30, the unemployment fund received fewer applications than in previous weeks. However, application volumes are expected to increase again at the turn of the month. Here you can find the latest processing figures as well as a reminder of what to consider if you are starting a new job in August or later this autumn.
During week 30, the fund received fewer applications than in previous weeks. However, the number of applications is expected to increase again at the turn of the month, both for first-time applications and follow-up applications.
In total, we received 413 applications during week 30, of which 212 were first-time applications and 201 were follow-up applications requiring manual processing.
We are currently (27.7.2026) processing first applications received on 9 July 2026. The processing queue time is currently approximately 2-3 weeks. For adjusted follow-up applications, we are processing applications received on 21 July 2026, meaning that the queue time is less than one week.
Application volumes are expected to increase again towards the end of the week and at the turn of the month. The turn of the month is traditionally one of the busiest periods for the unemployment fund.
