Membership application

Use this membership form if you wish to join the Unemployment Fund Ote as an individual member (unemployment fund membership without trade union membership).

If you wish to become a member of both the trade union and the Unemployment Fund Ote, please apply for membership through the union. Members who join the unemployment fund via their trade union pay the membership fee as part of the union’s membership fee.

Member unions

An employee in paid work can join the Unemployment Fund Ote if they have completed higher education or equivalent specialised training, are studying towards such a qualification, or work in a role that requires this level of education.

Please complete the membership form below. Note that you cannot join the unemployment fund retroactively. Membership can start at the earliest on the date your application is received by the fund. Payment of the membership fee is a prerequisite for starting and maintaining membership.

Once we have processed your application, you will receive a notification of whether your membership has been approved or rejected.

If you are already a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote through a trade union, but wish to leave the union and continue as an individual member of the unemployment fund, please complete the notification of continued membership.
