I have joined a trade union
Notify us via a message through Otenetti if you have been an individual member of the Unemployment Fund Ote and are joining a trade union.
If you are a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote through a trade union and transfer your membership to another of our affiliated organisations, you do not necessarily need to notify the fund separately. It is sufficient that, when applying for membership in your new union, you indicate that you are already a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote or that you are joining the Unemployment Fund Ote.
To ensure there is no interruption in your membership with the Unemployment Fund Ote in such a situation:
- Make sure there is no gap between your trade union memberships.
- Confirm with your new trade union that your union membership includes membership in the Unemployment Fund Ote.
- Pay membership fees up to the resignation date of your previous trade union.
- Pay membership fees starting from the joining date of your new trade union.
If there is a gap of more than two weeks between your trade union memberships, or if you have any questions regarding your unemployment fund membership, please contact the fund via Otenetti.
The above instructions apply only to cases where you switch from one of our affiliated organisations to another. If you move to a different trade union and wish to maintain your membership in the Unemployment Fund Ote, please contact us via Otenet or by completing the form for continuing as a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote.
