I will continue as a member of the fund after leaving the trade union
If you have been a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote through a trade union and wish to resign from the union, you can still continue as a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote.
Submit your resignation to your trade union in writing and inform them at the same time that you will continue as a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote. Pay your membership fees to the trade union up to your resignation date. If you pay the membership fees yourself, request payment instructions from your trade union and make sure to pay them promptly. If your trade union membership fees have been collected through employer deduction, ask payroll to ensure the fees are paid up to your resignation date and to stop the employer deduction once your membership ends.
Once you have resigned from the trade union and paid the membership fees to the union up to your resignation date, notify us using this form that you wish to continue your unemployment fund membership.
Once we have processed your application, you will receive confirmation of your continued membership along with your first membership fee invoice.
The unemployment fund provides its members exclusively with advice and services related to earnings-related allowance, mobility allowance, and transition security allowance, and pays these benefits to members who are entitled to them. Individual members of the fund are not entitled to benefits offered by the trade union, such as the services of a shop steward, the organisation’s magazine or insurance, and the fund’s services do not include advocacy.
If you are not yet a member of the Unemployment Fund Ote, you can apply for individual membership.
